The unique SST-500 hydraulic clamping system that
facilitates easy retrieval in open or cased hole also
provides a high locking force ratio of 10:1. The high
locking force and innovative tool design results in a high
frequency response of up to 500 Hz. The tool consists of 12
isolated 3D geophone shuttles, telemetry unit and hydraulic
pump. Safe deployment and retrieval, high-frequency response
and adaptability make it the ideal retrievable system for
complex surveys, such as walkaway and 3D VSPs and
